How to obtain Black Oil in Abiotic Factor
To obtain Black Oil in Abiotic Factor, you must butcher Inkfish in the Chef’s Counter. Interestingly, here are the items you must secure to craft a Chef’s Counter in the survival title:
- Wood Plank: 8
- Power Supply Unit: 2
- Metal/ Hydro Pipe: 4
- Metal Scrap: 4
However, you must remember that even if you butcher the Inkfish, there’s only a 10 percent chance of getting the Black Oil. Hence, make sure to obtain as many Inkfish as you can from the Night Realm’s well.

Interestingly, there’s a small trick you can apply to ensure you’ve caught. If the Black Water particles start appearing, you must not worry about your fishing.
Other than Black Oil, there’s a 100 percent drop rate of items, such as Raw Inkfish Filet, Fish Bones, and Fish Oil. Furthermore, as Inkfish has a decay limit of 100, we recommend you use it at the right time. If it gets decayed somehow, you’ll only be left with the Rotten Fish. And your expedition to collect the Inkfish will be useless.
