Honkai Star Rail: Reddit leak reveals Castorice’s ability kit

A Honkai Star Rail leak is spreading with details of an upcoming character called Castorice. It consists of major details including her abilities, Eidolons, Traces, and more.

While HSR is getting ready to launch its upcoming 3.1v patch, fans are looking forward to leaks of upcoming character banners. HoYoverse already revealed that the characters for 3.1v are Castorice and Anaxa, but with these recent leaks online, they’re getting a closer look at their favorite upcoming units.

Castorice was one of the most highly anticipated units from the teaser trailer of Amphoreus when version 3.0 was released. She was first presented to the public as the Chrysos Heir connected to the “Thannatos” Titan of the world, the Amphorean god of death.

A credible HSR leaker, Dim, has shared the full details of Castorice’s abilities in new leaks. According to that leak, Castorice Basic ATK will deal Quantum DMG based on her Max HP, while her skill will absorb HP from her allies to deal AoE Quantum DMG.

Her Ultimate will summon her Memosprite, a “Dead Dragon” as she is a Remembrance path unit. Castorice’s Talent provides a strong buff based on the amount of HP lost by her comrades, while her Technique starts combat with her Memosprite active.

  • HP – 1629
  • Attack – 523
  • Defence – 485
  • Speed – 95
  • Taunt – 100

Castorice’s Eidolons

  • Snowland’s Holy Maiden Entombs With Memories – The Dead Dragon’s DMG is increased by 30% each time it uses “Dimscorch Breath.” This effect lasts until the end of this round and stacks up to six times.
  • And Crowns with Flowers Affutter – After summoning memosprite Dead Dragon, Castorice gains 2 stacks of “ Ardent Will”. Castorice’s action can be advanced by 100% while the memosprite Dead Dragon’s HP consumption is offset by up to two stacks of “Ardent Will,” which can be held at any given moment. A 100% increase in DMG is dealt with by the next Enhanced Skill.
  • And Sleeps in Elegies Embetter – While Castorice is on the field, all allies’ Incoming Healing increases by 20% when having their HP restored.
  • And Waits for Time to Un-Cocoon, Unfetters – When Castorice and Dead Dragon deal DMG, increases Quantum RES PEN by 20%, and Dead Dragon will not disappear on its own after taking an action.

Castorice’s Traces

  • Stats – Quantum DMG Boost, Crit Rate, and CRIT DMG.
  • Dark Tale Contained – When Castorice or Dead Dragon’s respective HP is 50% or higher, increases their respective SPD by 40%.
  • Inverted Torch – An equal quantity of “Stamen Nova” will be restored for each ally target when Dead Dragon is not on the field thanks to 100% excess healing. The extra healing will give the Dead Dragon an equivalent amount of HP back while it is on the field. No more than 15% of the maximum “Stamen Nova” or Dead Dragon’s maximum HP may be restored.
  • Where the West Wind Dwells – When Dead Dragon disappears, restores HP for all allies equal to 10% of Castorice’s Max HP plus 250.

Castorice’s Skills

  • Basic ATK – Deals Quantum DMG equal to 25% of Castorice ‘s Max HP to one designated enemy.
  • Skill – It consumes around 40% of the ally teammate’s HP. Deals Quantum DMG equal to 25% of her Max HP to one selected foe and 15% Quantum DMG of Castorice’s Max HP to the adjacent targets. If the current HP is insufficient, the ability will reduce the HP bar to 1.
  • Enhanced Skill – This skill depletes 50% of the HP of the whole squad (except the memosprite). Castorice and her memosprite then launched a joint ATK, which deals with Quantum DMG, which is equal to 12% and 21% of Castorice’s Max HP. If the current health bar is insufficient then the ability will reduce the HP to 1.
  • Ultimate – With the Ultimate, Castorice will summon the memosprite Dead Dragon and advance its action by 100%. At the same time, it will create the Territory “Lost Netherland”, which will decrease all enemy’s ALL-Type RES by 10%. If Castorice’s Talent is active, then the DMG buff effect extends to the Dead Dragon as well. The memosprite has an SPD of 140 and a set Max HP, which is equal to 100% of Max “ Stamen Nova”. The Dead Dragon acts 3 times or when its HP reaches 0, it disappears and dispels the Territory “Lost Netherland”.
  • Talent – Castorice’s Talent “Stamen Nova”’s Max, is equal to 100 times the total of all characters on the field. For each HP point that is lost by all the allies, Castorice gains 1 point of her Talent. This increases Castorice and her memosprite’s DMG dealt by 10%. This can stack up to 3 times, which will last for 3 turns. Castorice Ult can be used when “Stamen Nova” reaches its maximum. Also,” Stamen Nova” can’t be used when the Dead Dragon is on-field. Instead, each point of HP lost by the allies will recover an equal amount of HP for the memosprite.
  • Technique – When the Technique is used, the character enters the state “Death Addle”, which will last for 20 seconds. In this state, enemies will be unable to hit Castorice on their own. Also, in this state if Castorice ATK enemies, then all nearby foes in her range will enter in combat state. During the same time, memosprite is being summoned, who starts with the current HP which is equal to 50% of max “Stamen Nova”. After Castorice enters the fight, it absorbs 40% of the team’s HP and advances the Dead Dragon action by 100%. Castorice obtains “Stamen Nova” equal to 5% of the maximum “Stamen Nova” after entering combat but before calling forth Dead Dragon.

The leaks also reveal the buffs that Castorice will receive from leveling up her Traces and Eidolons levels. Most of her Traces mostly buff her Crit and Quantum DMG output, along with unique effects like over-healing and adding stacks to her Talent, which will help to restore HP when the Dead Dragon leaves the field.

Her Eidolons also add boosts like increased healing, a new mechanic when Dead Dragon is active, and buffing the memosprite’s DMG output.
