Honkai Star Rail is slowly moving towards the epilogue of Amphoreus, and many new exciting things are about to be revealed in the upcoming patches. One of the most highly anticipated things is the debut of Phainon as a playable unit, and we can’t wait to use his ultimate to annihilate the foes on the battlefield.
So, let’s not waste any time and dive into the details of the upcoming Honkai Star Rail banners in 3.4v.
All leaks related to Honkai Star Rail character banners
According to the recent leaks on Reddit by Annon Leaks, it’s expected that there might be nine separate character banners in the upcoming version.
According to the leaks, the character banners might be split into four and five banners, respectively, into the different phases of the version.
First phase of Star Rail 3.4 banners

In the first phase, the highly anticipated character Phainon is expected to make his debut, along with re-runs of some of the best support characters in Star Rail.
All of the characters who are expected to have their banners in the first phase of 3.4v are as follows :
- Phainon – Physical, The Hunt
- Tribbie(Re-run) – Quantum, Harmony
- Sparkle (Re-run) – Quantum, Harmony
- Sunday (Re-run) – Imaginary, Harmony
Phainon – Phainon is the upcoming Hunt Path character who is gonna wield the Physical element. Due to the Path he follows, he will be specialised in dealing massive Physical damage to single-target based enemies.
Tribbie– She is currently the best Harmony Path character in Star Rail. Tribbie debuted as a playable unit back in 3.v, and since then, she has held the position of the best Harmony unit.
The reason for being the best is her kit, which is based on HP% scaling and no traditional Crit DMG/Rate or ATK%. Due to such unique scaling, she is a versatile character who can successfully fit into any team composition.
Sparkle – Once she ruled the Tierlist as an S-Tier support unit, but after Robin and other characters debuted, she quickly fell off the chart. However, she is still pretty good if you build her properly.
Sparkle is still the best in slot support character for Firefly, so if you’re planning to boost your Firefly’s damage output, you might wanna consider pulling for her banner.
Sunday – Another S-Tier Harmony character in Star Rail. He is another versatile support unit that pairs very well with Remembrance Path characters and characters who do not own any summon units.
With his skill, he can immediately fast forward one designated character action, and if that character has a summon, then the damage output will be boosted further for an additional 25%. With such skills, Sunday is very much in meta, and it is advised to pull for him if you lack any strong support units.
Second Phase of Honkai Star Rail 3.4 banners

In the second phase of the character banners, some iconic old units like Kafka, Jingliu, Blade, and more are expected to get a re-run. These characters recently got some buffs, which might help them to get back in the meta with the help of the recent Support units.
All of the characters who are expected to have their banners in the second phase of 3.4v are as follows :
- Firefly (Re-run) – Fire, Destruction
- Jingliu (Re-run) – Ice, Destruction
- Kafka (Re-run) – Lightning, Nihility
- Silverwolf (Re-run) – Quantum, Nihility
- Blade (Re-run) – Wind, Destruction
FireFly – She is one of the strongest Fire DPS currently in the game. Her damage output is based on Break Effect scaling, so the higher the Break Effect, the more damage she is gonna cause on the battlefield.
She was introduced to the community during the early era of Penacony. Even after almost a whole year, she is still in meta, so if you are planning to get a Fire element DPS, you might wanna grab this opportunity.
Jingliu – The OG Ice DPS in Star Rail. She was the sword master of the Xianzhou Luofu, and probably one of the strongest DPS ever introduced until patch 2.0 hit the servers.
Recently, she got some buffs, like her damage output scaling, which was based on ATK%, which is now based on HP%. So, the old players might wanna re-farm the relics based on HP%. This is a small push from the Devs to bring the Sword Master back in the meta.
Kafka – One of the most wanted individuals in the Star Rail Universe. Kafka, another Stellaron Hunter, recently got her old kit buffed.
Due to low DoT application, she flew out of the meta, but with these new buffs like dealing Lightning DMG, which might be equal to 160’5 of her Attack, might just shoot her back to S-Tier. If you’re looking for a strong DoT Sub-DPS, you should start pre-farming for her.
SilverWolf – A wanted Stellaron Hunter, but a passionate gamer and hacker. She has mastered a skill known as “Aether Editing,” which grants her the power to alter the data of reality.
She is also the first debuffer that was introduced in the game, but fell out of the meta due to her single-target de-buff ability. But with the recent buff, she can now de-buff her opponents with an AoE-type attack, which might bring her back on the meta with some selective DPS.
Blade – The final member of the Stellaron Hunter group, and a community favorite DPS. He is a Wind element character who follows the Path of Destruction, meaning he can deal damage to a designated foe along with its adjacent targets in a single blow.
In this upcoming patch, he will be getting a buff to his kit, which will focus more on his HP scaling for higher damage output. Apart from this, Blade also got an indirect buff with the release of the Remembrance unit Hyacine. She can increase the maximum HP limit of a character, letting Blade deal with massive Wind DMG.
Well, these are all the characters that might be available for summoning in the upcoming patch with new buffs. While you wait for the new version, how about you check out the latest Star Rail Tier list so that you know whom you need to invest?
