This is a collaboration with ASUS to give you the freedom of using Windows, which means you can easily install other platforms, such as Battle.net, and enjoy Xbox Game Pass’s massive catalog.

When is the ROG Xbox Ally X releasing?
According to the official trailer, the ROG Xbox Ally X will release during the Holiday 2025, as confirmed by Microsoft. There’s no official date yet, and once they do, we will make sure to update it here.

Contrary to the Xbox Ally, the Xbox Ally X will offer the best level of performance and visual settings in the lineup, thanks to the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor and 24 GB of RAM.

Do we know how much the ROG Xbox Ally X will cost?
At the time of writing, Microsoft hasn’t revealed the pricing of the ROG Xbox Ally X.
2024’s ROG Ally X costs $799.99. So, if we have to guess, the handheld console may start from $899.99. The reason is that Microsoft is a major brand collaborating with ASUS, and they are trying to make the Windows and Xbox ecosystems seamless for these PCs.
