On June 6, Summer Games Fest 2025 saw Neowiz drop the Lies of P: Overture DLC, and if you’re wondering how to access it, here’s everything you need to know.
How to start Lies of P: Overture DLC
You cannot start Lies of P: Overture DLC right away. You can access it at the end of Chapter 9 of the base game, when a new Functional item called Star’s Chrysalis gets added to your inventory, once you restore the Hotel Krat Stargazer.
Once the Star’s Chrysalis gets unlocked, follow its quest icon (you can find it in the teleport menu to Path of the Pilgrim). This will initiate a cutscene, which will start your Overture journey.
You have to reactivate the Star’s Chrysalis in each new game cycle, which means you have to reach the end of Chapter 9 again.

What’s new in Lies of P: Overture?
Lies of P: Overture takes you back to experience some of the untold stories and chilling secrets that shape the past and future. Several weapon combinations are fresh, and you can unlock them along with Legion Arms to forge unique combat styles.
The devs said, “This expansion allowed us to complete the first arc of our story, and we hope our community feels the same love and support as they did for the base game. Please stay tuned for what awaits Geppetto’s Puppet.”
Along with this expansion, the base Lies of P game will get two new difficulty settings and two new challenging boss battle modes. Remember, you have to see at least one base Lies of P game ending to access the boss battles.
Battle Memories will allow you to relive boss battles that you’ve defeated in your previous playthrough; the only difference this time will be the new difficulty tiers.
Death March will offer a challenging consecutive series of previously defeated bosses with limited player health and items.
The DLC costs $29.99, and you can purchase it to start playing immediately on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Dune: Awakening is also one of the new games released alongside this DLC, and you can check our best graphics settings guide to set the right balance.
