Cipher is an upcoming Quantum element De-buffer, following the Path of Nihility. She is about to debut as a playable unit in the second character banner phase along with her signature LightCone.

Some of the best team comps for Cipher in Star Rail version 3.3 are as follows:

Acheron + Cipher + Jiaoqiu + Aventurine
- Acheron – Main DPS (Lightning)
- Cipher – Sub-DPS/ Primary De-buffer (Quantum)
- Jiaoqiu – Secondary De-Buffer (Fire)
- Aventurine – Sustain/Shield (Imaginary)
In this team comp, Acheron will be dealing major blows to her enemies with her Lightning abilities while Cipher will be in charge of de-buffering the foes on the battlefield with her skills. Apart from de-buffing, she can be a solid sub-dps with her follow-up attack, which can be launched once per turn due to her unique Talent.
Jiaoqiu, on the other hand, will be the secondary de-buffer, so apart from weakening the foes on the field, he will bring the power of Fire. He can deal enormous Fire damage with his Ultimate usage; when the Zone of his ultimate is active, the enemies will receive 9% increased ultimate damage, making the enemies quite vulnerable to Acheron.
Finally, Aventurine is here to make sure the team doesn’t die on the field; with his unique stackable Shield mechanic, he can stop most of the incoming damage.

In this comp, Feixiao will be the main damage dealer, who is a Hunt Path character. As she is a Hunt Path unit, she can deal with one designated enemy at a time, but when she uses her skill, she can immediately launch a follow-up attack after the initial hit.
During the Ultimate usage, she can even ignore the weakness Type of her foe; in general, she is an S-Tier unit if paired with correct support units.
In this comp, our thief will be acting as the primary de-buffer; with her skill and Ultimate usage, Cipher will be able to make the enemies on the field vulnerable to incoming damage. She can also launch a follow-up attack once per turn thanks to her unique ultimate.
While Robin will be acting as the buffer, she can buff the Main DPS’s ATK%, Crit DMG, and more, making her a solid addition to this comp. Finally, Aventurine will be acting as the primary shield unit, which will be responsible for keeping his team alive during crucial fights.
