Funcom’s latest title, Dune: Awakening, is finally out, and if you’re wondering what its server status is right now, we’ve got all the info you need.
Dune: Awakening, being an MMO, means it’s heavily reliant on server performance, as that’s only how you can dive into the sands of Arrakis if the servers are up and running.
Whether due to scheduled maintenance or unexpected outages, server issues can disrupt your gaming experience. That’s why you must check the server status before jumping into a session with friends.
Current Dune: Awakening server status
As of June 6, 2025, Dune: Awakening servers are fully up and running.
There was a server outage on June 5, where players were unable to continue past their character creation. The devs had to take the servers down for maintenance for the issue to get fixed.
Approximately two hours later, Funcom fixed the issue, and at the time of writing, you can hop into the game and continue with your progress.
Back during the beta weekend on May 12, the devs were offering opportunities to play the game in batches, so servers were a little unstable back then.
Dune: Awakening fully launches on June 10, while its early access started on June 6. As time passes, more servers will likely be added to handle the player load.
